The Skanderbeg Monument is a monument located in Tirana, Albania’s Skanderbeg Square. It is named after Skanderbeg, an Albanian feudal lord and military leader who led an uprising against the Ottoman Empire in what is now Albania, North Macedonia, Greece, Kosovo, Montenegro, and Serbia.
Odhise Paskali designed the 11-metre monument, which was unveiled in 1968 on the 500th anniversary of Skanderbeg’s death.
