The Monument of Independence is a monument in Vlore, Albania, dedicated to the Albanian Declaration of Independence and created by Muntaz Dhrami and Kristaq Rama, both Albanian artists. It is located near the building where the first Albanian government held office in 1913.
Ismail Qemali, the leader of the Albanian national struggle and creator of Independent Albania, is sculpted in the monument’s center.
