Gjipe Beach

Gjipe beach is located in the Ionian Sea near the village of Ilias, between Dhermi and Himara. It is surrounded by mountains and enchanting nature. It is about 68 km away from Saranda.

Gjipe beach is located at the end of the canyon. It is a public and free beach. There is peace and quiet here, so it is great for relaxation.

It is surrounded by greenery. It is completely idyllic. There are not many visitors, because it can be reached on foot through the forest in about 30 minutes.

The beach can be reached by boat. It is covered with a mixture of yellow sand and marble stones.

The beach is quite isolated, and is one of the most inaccessible beaches in the country. The water of the Ionian Sea is transparent and incredibly clean.

The beach is arranged and organized. There is a beach bar where you can buy drinks and some snacks. Sunbeds and umbrellas can be rented in season. There is a restaurant nearby. The beach is moderately visited.

Access to the beach is good. The paid parking can be reached by car and 2 km on foot, or by boat.
