Elbasan Castle (Albanian: Kalaja e Elbasanit) is a fortress in Elbasan, Albania, built in the 15th century. Originally, the castle had 26 equidistant 9-meter (30-foot) high towers. A section of the Via Egnatia runs through the fortress.
The Turkish bath of Sinan Pasha is located inside the castle’s walls. It’s a well-preserved early-nineteenth-century attraction.
