The King Mosque (Sultan Bayezid Mosque) is a medieval mosque in Elbasan, Albania, located inside the Ottoman Elbasan Castle.
Sultan Bayazit II erected the mosque between 1482 and 1485. Apart from the Fatih Mosque in Durrs, this makes it one of Albania’s oldest operational mosques. In 1948, Albania declared it a Cultural Monument.
