It lies at the northern head of the G\u00f6kova Gulf, tucked under the pine-covered slopes of 1,000m-high K\u0131ran Da\u011f\u0131. The cove has a quiet, protected feel: its water is famously calm and clear \u2013 almost like a glassy lake \u2013 framed by green forests and aromatic maquis-covered hills. In local terms it is a do\u011fa koruma alan\u0131 (first-degree protected natural site), free from large hotels or heavy development. This tranquil setting has made Akb\u00fck Cove a popular retreat for families and nature lovers in recent years.<\/p>\n<p>Akb\u00fck Koyu sits about 48\u202fkm from Mu\u011fla city center and roughly 25\u202fkm west of Akyaka village.
