The Bodrum municipality maintains about a 200\u202fm long municipal stretch of fine golden sand here, though the bay curves around almost 2\u202fkm of shoreline. Backed by low pine-covered hills, the beach has a gently sloping seabed into clean, calm water. It won a Blue Flag (Mavi Bayrak) for water quality. Yah\u015fi Beach lies about 7\u202fkm west of Bodrum town and ~40\u202fkm from Milas\u2013Bodrum Airport.<\/p>\n<p>The sea at Yah\u015fi Beach is usually very calm and shallow near shore.
