Starozagorski Mineralni Bani is a balneological resort situated 15 kilometers northwest of Stara Zagora.<\/p>

The settlement is located 370 meters (1,210 feet) above sea level in the basin of the river Sazliyka. The neighboring mountain summits reach a height of up to 800 meters (2,620 ft).<\/p>

Since prehistory, the valley\u2019s warm environment and hot mineral springs have drawn inhabitants. Around the mineral springs, adjacent to today\u2019s main Thermal spa structure, a neolithic hamlet was uncovered. It was present there from around 6000 BC through the late chalcolithic period, approximately 4000 BC. Numerous finds from the site\u2019s archeological investigations, mostly pottery, stone, horn, bone, and copper implements, and other works of ancient art, are currently on show at Stara Zagora\u2019s Neolithic Dwellings Museum.<\/p>

In 1965, the town also uncovered an amazing 2500 m2 (26,900 sq ft) Roman thermae. It was constructed about the second century AD and was utilized by the inhabitants of the Bulgarian hamlet located south of the thermae at least until the 12th century AD.<\/p>

The town was designated a national balneotherapy resort in 1967. This resulted in significant expenditures in the area\u2019s tourist development.<\/p>

The resort\u2019s exceptional facilities for leisure, healing, and entertainment are unmatched. A balneology sanatorium, mineral water pools, hotels, tourist stations, and villas are all part of the complex.<\/p>

The hot mineral water is ideal for SPA treatments and balneology. It is effectively used to treat locomotory system disorders, peripheral nervous system disorders, renal and urological ailments, as well as gastrointestinal, gynecological, and other problems.<\/p>

Visitors may see remnants of the Thracian and Roman eras, as well as bathhouses and translucent marble pools.<\/p>

Starozagorski bani (meaning Stara Zagora Baths; sometimes spelled Stara Zagora Spa) is a town and mineral springs spa resort in central Bulgaria. It is situated in the Sredna Gora mountain 15 kilometers (9 miles) north of Stara Zagora.<\/p>

Tourism is the primary economic activity in Starozagorski bani. Numerous hotels and hostels provide mineral water spa services, as well as restaurants, parks, and sports facilities for all types of outdoor enjoyment. The neighboring mountains are accessible through hiking paths.<\/p>

Mineral water<\/h3>

The town is surrounded by several mineral water springs. The water springs at a rate of 12 liters per second from a depth of around 1600 m (5250 ft), at a temperature of approximately 40 \u00b0C (105 \u00b0F). It contains hydrocarbonates, sulfates, calcium, magnesium, silica, and fluorine and is mildly mineralized. It is used to treat disorders with the respiratory system, the kidneys, and the stomach.<\/p>

The resort\u2019s main thermal bath facility is constructed around the largest springs, with a handful of mineral water lebron james fountains outside. Other springs are used by hotels and medical centers to provide spa and balneotherapy services.<\/p>

Virgin Mary’s Footprint<\/h3>

The location Virgin Mary\u2019s Footprint, located north of the hamlet, is one of the most prominent tourist sites in Starozagorski bani. It is so named due to a rock feature that resembles a large human footprint embedded in a rock. According to mythology, this is a footprint of the Virgin Mary that is permanently filled with water.<\/p>

Because Christians believe that the imprint of the Blessed Virgin Mary is a hallowed natural spot, a tiny chapel named Birth of the Blessed Virgin Mary is established in the location.<\/p>

Starozagorski bani lake<\/h3>

The Starozagorski bani lake is located in the resort\u2019s south-western section. It is a popular hiking and fishing site (for Crucian carp mainly).<\/p>
