Sinemorets is a settlement on Bulgaria\u2019s extreme southeastern Black Sea coast, near the Turkish border. The settlement is located directly on the seafront, beside the lovely Veleka River. Ahtopol, a coastal resort, is located 6 kilometers north of Sinemorets, while Rezovo is located 11 kilometers south.<\/p>

Sinemorets is a popular holiday resort due to its unspoiled natural beauty and outstanding beaches. It is next to the Strandzha Nature Reserve, a cool haven on hot summer days with several paths connecting to natural and historical attractions.<\/p>

Bytamyata Beach and the beach at the mouth of the Veleka River are located in the settlement. Additionally, one of Bulgaria\u2019s most gorgeous beaches, Silistar, lies nearby.<\/p>

Water sports enthusiasts may hire banana boat rides (a huge, banana-shaped float hauled by a speed boat) or jet skis. For those who want a more natural experience, horses and ponies may be rented, as well as boat cruises along the Veleka. There are several routes in the Strandzha reserve that lead to fascinating locations for hikers and bikers.<\/p>

The Strandzha villages near Sinemorets have preserved centuries-old traditions, which they are happy to share with guests. One such custom that is well-known around the globe is the Nestinarka \u2014 a traditional dance performed on live coals that takes place on May 21 during the annual Saints Constantine and Elena feast. During the summer, Nestinarka fire dances are organized for visitors. Strandzha villages Gramatikovo, Kosti, Bulgari, and Mladezhko have emerged into popular village tourist attractions.<\/p>

The Veleka River is well-stocked and draws a large number of anglers. It is possible to capture both freshwater and saltwater fish near the river\u2019s mouth, since fish from the Black Sea migrate up the river in search of food.<\/p>

Though Sinemorets is a tiny community, it provides a range of lodging options, including luxury complexes, hotels, and guesthouses. The village\u2019s restaurants provide both seafood and traditional Bulgarian cuisine.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Sinemorets is a tiny coastal resort on Bulgaria\u2019s Black Sea coast, close to the Turkish border, where the river Veleka empties into the sea. Sinemorets has two crystal-clear beaches. Along the Veleka River, which creates an estuary, there are almost unending trees. Silistar, one of Bulgaria\u2019s most gorgeous beaches, is located near Sinemorets. The resort has a diverse selection of luxury condominiums, hotels, and guesthouses. The resort is near to the Strandzha Nature Reserve, which has several hiking and biking paths. Sinemorets is situated six kilometers north of Ahtopol and eleven kilometers south of Rezovo. The settlement is quiet and unpopular, since it was formerly part of a frontier zone with restricted access.<\/p>

Sinemorets (BG: \u0438\u043d\u0435\u043co\u0440\u0435) is a small town situated around 80 kilometers south of Burgas. It is readily accessible by automobile. From there, follow road 9 to Kraymorie (BG: \u0440\u0430\u043c\u043e\u0440\u0438\u0435), then continue on road 99 to Tsarevo (BG: \u0430\u0440\u0435\u0432\u043e), where you will come to road 9901, which is the sole route to Sinemorets. It has a few lumpy and\/or tight spots, but overall it is OK.<\/p>

Although there are no railways in the area, there is a regular bus service between Burgas and Sinemorets twice daily throughout the year, departing from Burgas at 14:00 and 17:30. During the summer, there are additional five buses daily from Ahtopol (BG: \u0442\u043e\u043e\u043b). Ahtopol is the resort nearest to Sinemorets, located approximately 6 kilometers to the north.<\/p>

Beaches in Sinemorets<\/h3>

The shores of this section of the nation are mostly cliffed and elevated above sea level, similar to Sinemorets. However, there is no need to be concerned since the beaches are sandy and readily accessible. On opposite sides of Sinemorets, the resort has two lifeguarded beaches with crystal blue water.<\/p>

Unsurprisingly, the 700-meter-long stretch of sand between the river and the sea is named Veleka Beach (BG: \u043ba \u0435\u043b\u0435\u043a\u0430). It\u2019s north of the town center and has two beach bars.<\/p>

Here, you may enjoy an unparalleled sense of freedom: moving between a river and the sea is effortless. The Veleka River has the same pleasant, sandy bottom as the sea, although the river\u2019s water is somewhat colder. You may even see turtles if you\u2019re fortunate.<\/p>

The second beach is named Butamya Beach (BG: \u041f\u043b\u0430\u0436 \u0411\u0443\u0442\u0430\u043c\u044f), and it is situated on the southern side of Sinemorets. It has four bars\/restaurants and several shallow sections that make it more child-friendly. This beach is somewhat shorter (about 400 meters) but broader than Veleka Beach, and is located little farther from the center.<\/p>

The Veleka river<\/h3>

The 147-kilometer-long Veleka river offers among of Bulgaria\u2019s finest waters. It boasts a diverse flora and fauna, including protected water lilies and 30 distinct freshwater fish species. The Veleka originates on the Turkish side of the Strandzha mountain and reaches a width of 50 meters and a depth of up to 8 meters near its mouth. The river and Sinemorets themselves are situated inside the Strandzha Nature Park, Bulgaria\u2019s biggest.<\/p>

Accommodation<\/h3>

There are just a few larger hotels in the coastal resort; the majority of accommodations are in mid-size hotels, aparthotels, and family villas. We suggest planning your trip at least six months in advance due to the restricted quantity of guest rooms, particularly since rates tend to spike as availability diminishes.<\/p>

Bars and restaurants<\/h3>

Sinemorets is home to quaint eateries, grocers, and souvenir stores. However, visitors seeking a vibrant nightlife should explore elsewhere for their vacation. Sinemorets has a significant advantage over many Black Sea resorts in that the majority of visitors are Bulgarian, which means that restaurants provide a broader range of traditional Bulgarian cuisine at extremely inexpensive pricing. It is an ideal location to sample Bulgarian food.<\/p>

Entertainment<\/h3>

Sinemorets is located near the Strandzha National Park. Strandzha mountain is densely forested and has several hiking and biking paths that link to natural and historical sites.<\/p>

The communities of Gramatikovo, Bulgari, Kosti, and Mladezhko have preserved their centuries-old traditions and are situated in the Strandzha mountain range, near Sinemorets.<\/p>

One of the settlements has a custom known as \u2018Nestinarka fire dances\u2019, which is a kind of ceremonial dance done over live coals.
