Semkovo Resort is located in the Rila Mountains, 1,600 meters above sea level, 17 kilometers from Belitsa. In 1976, it was designated a nationally recognized resort and significant site.<\/p>

The Mediterranean climate has affected the resort\u2019s mountain setting. The annual average temperature is between 7.5 and 9.5 degrees Celsius. July\u2019s average temperature is between 18 and 25 degrees Celsius. August is the warmest month in the area.<\/p>

Semkovo offers a variety of overnight lodging options, including hotels, bungalows, villas, and shelters. The Semkovo Shelter is situated 1,750 meters above sea level in the mountains above the resort.<\/p>

In the Semkovo area, there are four ecological trails: the \u201eNature the Eternal Temple\u201c Trail, the \u201eMarshland Glory\u201c Trail, and the \u201eNature the Eternal Temple\u201c Trail. Trails \u201eGlacier Traces\u201c and \u201eLord of the Mountains\u201c The Vapsko Circus and Lakes, Polezhano (Recumbent) Circus and Suho (Dry) Lake, Skalishko (Cliffs) Circus and Lake, Chernopolyansko (Black Earth Fields) Circus and Lake, and the Macedonia Shelter are all accessible through marked routes.<\/p>

The Dancing Bears Park (protected bear habitat) in Belitsa is one of the most remarkable attractions in the area. Additionally, the Semkovo area provides mountain riding paths of varied lengths and complexity.<\/p>

Semkovo is a ski resort with eight lines connected by eight lifts, totaling 4 kilometers in length.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The snow cover begins to accumulate in early November and reaches a height of 60 \u2013 80 cm in January. Semkovo\u2019s natural resources, together with pre-existing pistes and ski-equipment gear, define it as a resort for mass ski tourism, as well as a year-round vacation and relaxation destination.<\/p>

Semkovo has seven ski routes totaling 4 kilometers in length, including three runs on the northern slopes with varying degrees of difficulty. Eight drag lifts serve the ski lines. The slopes are well groomed.<\/p>

The 400-meter-long ski slope at the Semkovo location is served by a drag capable of transporting 150 persons every hour.<\/p>

The Orlite site\u2019s (Kartal) ski slope is 800 meters long and is served by two ski drags. The first is 800 meters long and the second is 1100 meters long, with a capacity of 450 and 700 passengers per hour, respectively.<\/p>
