As a result, this is the situation for many Bulgarians who reside all over the globe. Kambanite is a symbol for all Bulgarian children residing abroad.<\/p><p>Lyudmila Zhivkova came up with the concept for the park with the bells. She was the daughter of Todor Zhivkov, Bulgaria&#8217;s previous Communist leader. Lyudmila Zhivkova was a well-known arts patron who built the monument with the help of UNESCO and the &#8220;Banner of Peace&#8221; organization. Todor Zhivkov&#8217;s daughter was a contentious character. This was because she was interested in esoteric Eastern religion and spirituality. She was in charge of education, culture, and science as chairperson of the Government&#8217;s Committee for Culture from June 1975.
