Comedy Club Sofia is the home of stand-up comedy in Bulgaria.<\/p>
Comedy Club Sofia opens its doors in 2015. The main goal of the club and its creator Ivan Kirkov is to be a place where the most talented Bulgarian comedians can make a real stand-up comedy.<\/p>
The process is difficult and long. In order to become an amateur stand-up comedian, he must show his qualities at Open Mic – (the monthly show – open microphone in Comedy Club Sofia), and then consolidate his talent with a lot of work.<\/p>
Our comedians start their professional career from amateur evenings and reach the highest title – Resident of Comedy Club Sofia.<\/p>
World-class stars such as Louis C. Kay, Stephen K. Amos, Daniel Sloss and many others have appeared on the stage of Comedy Club Sofia.<\/p>
Comedians talk about the things of their own lives. They tell their stories, things they have experienced, inspired by the stories of their friends, life and unforeseen situations.<\/p>
The jokes of the comedians are entirely original, and stand-up comedy is trained only in front of an audience. The comedian is constantly improving his live material. Clich\u00e9s and memes, or any similar “rapid progress” methods are not allowed. This makes Comedy Club Sofia one of the most difficult but real places where you can perform.<\/p>
