Similar to the Church of Christ Pantokrator, it is a cross-domed church constructed of bricks and light limestone and ornamented with ceramic inlays of various hues. The church was dubbed &#8220;Aliturgitos&#8221; since no religious services have ever been held there (&#8220;without liturgy&#8221;).<\/p><p>The church was severely damaged after the 1913 earthquake. On the ruins of the western wall were discovered fourteenth-century drawings of frigates.
