Pradl is east of the Old Town and surrounded by the Inn River. This varied and interesting area boasts a number of stores, bakeries, caf\u00e9s, and supermarkets. Pradl boasts several cultural sites including Tivoli Stadium, the Tyrolean State Museum, and the Olympic Ice Stadium. Pradl is an excellent place to stay if you want to be near a range of amenities and conveniences while yet absorbing local Innsbruck culture. Pradl has reasonably priced hotels and flats; public transit connects the area to the city core and other areas of the city.<\/p>

Apart from a cadastral community, the Innsbruck statistical district include the fraction (locality) Pradl. Amras kept its independence until 1938; Pradl was a member of Amras until 1904, when it was divided off and merged with Innsbruck. One of Innsbruck’s most busy and diverse districts, Pradl boasts a great range of facilities for both residents and visitors.<\/p>

Pradl is the cadastral community across the Sill from the city core. Its inn divides it from the cadastral communities of M\u00fchlau to the north, Amras to the west and south, Lans to the south, and Vill and Wilten to the south-west. The cadastral community covers 3.8 square km.<\/p>

Reichenau’s and Pradl’s statistical districts comprise the cadastral community and parliamentary group respectively. Pradl’s statistical district comprises the following census districts: Pradl-Mitte-West (33.9 ha, 4914 residents, 358 buildings), Pradl-Mitte-Ost (34.7 ha, 3302, 459), Pradl-S\u00fcd (121.7 ha, 3214, 168 buildings), and Pradl-Ost (54.2 ha, 5584, 459). Based on numbers, Pradl is the most populated district in Innsbruck with 19,9488 people. Of the population, twenty-two percent is 65 and over; 11.5 percent is under the age of fifteen. Of the population, roughly 17.7 percent are foreign born.<\/p>

Given its population, Pradl boasts several elementary, middle, and high schools\u2014the most notable of which being THS Pembaurstra\u00dfe in respect to size. Apart from the district infrastructure, Pradl boasts several city-wide facilities. These comprise the Olympic Hall, the Tivoli outdoor pool, the Ostfriedhof, and the Rapoldipark; the municipal indoor pool on Amraser Stra\u00dfe; the Tivoli sports grounds with the football stadium.<\/p>

Including the Pradl-Mitte-West and Pradl-Mitte-Ost census districts, the Pradl-Mitte area comprises the center of Pradl. The region consists of a range of building forms including residential, business, and industrial. Pradl-Mitte is one of the most important locations in Pradl since the Pradl Church, Pradl Cemetery, Pradl Market, and Pradl Shopping Center all sit in Pradl-Mitte. Pradl-Mitte is the destination for all the conveniences and entertainment choices of a busy city core.<\/p>

Between 1910 and 1913 Clemens Holzmeister built the Roman Catholic church known as the Pfarrkirche Pradl. Modern and striking, the Pradl Church boasts a wide inside, a towering tower, and a high dome. Devoted to St. Norbert, the patron saint of Pradl, the Pradl Church hosts several cultural and religious events.<\/p>

Since 1906, the Pradl neighborhood has included the spacious and beautiful Pradl Cemetery (also Friedhof Pradl). Among the well-known names whose graves might be found at Pradl Cemetery are Ludwig von Ficker, Max Weiler, and Clemens Holzmeister. Additional Pradl Cemetery features are a chapel, crematorium, and columbarium.<\/p>

Mostly a rural and environmentally pleasant area, Pradl-S\u00fcd is situated in southern Pradl. Farms, fields, and forests abound in the area, therefore fostering peace and relaxation. Among the rather lovely natural sites in Pradl-S\u00fcd are Sill Gorge, Lanser See, and Lans Castle. Pradl-S\u00fcd is a great place to spend some time in nature seeking for a peaceful, gorgeous spot.<\/p>

The Sill river carved out the narrow, deep Sill Gorge\u2014also known as Sillklamm. The spectacular Sill Gorge offers hiking, biking, and rafting. Perched across the Sill Gorge, a steel bridge offers a bird’s-eye view of the valley and the city below.<\/p>

To the south of Pradl, in the hamlet of Lans, is the small but lovely Lanser See, sometimes known as Lans Lake. To the Lanser See flocks sunbathers, swimmers, fisherman, and boaters. At the Lanser See are a restaurant, playground, and campground as well as a park.<\/p>

Built in the 13th century and later enlarged and renovated in the 16th and 17th centuries, the ancient and magnificent Lans Castle, sometimes known as Schloss Lans, is a structure with great historical significance. Although the Lans Castle is essentially private, it hosts art shows, concerts, and weddings among other events. Eastern of the city is the mostly industrial and urban Pradl-Ost area. Many manufacturers, warehouses, and offices create a lively and busy area from which Among the modern and noteworthy Pradl-Ost structures and facilities are Tivoli Stadium, the Olympic Hall, and the Tivoli Outdoor Pool. Pradl-Ost is a terrific place to visit if you search for a lively, modern area with lots to see and do.<\/p>

Designed to host the 2008 European Football Championship, the Tivoli Stadium (also Tivoli-Neu) was built. It is the home ground of the football team FC Wacker Innsbruck and among other sports includes American football and rugby. Among the several events staged at the Tivoli Stadium are Tiroler Fr\u00fchlingsmesse, a spring fair.<\/p>

Built for the 1964 and 1976 Winter Olympics, the multifunctional Olympiahalle is sometimes referred to as the Olympic Hall. Figure skating, speed skating, curling, and ice hockey (HC Innsbruck) among other winter sports find a site here. Olympic Hall hosts events including the snowboarding and music festival Air + Style.<\/p>

First offered to the public in 1970, the Tivoli Outdoor Pool\u2014also known as Tivoli Freibad\u2014is a large and fun outdoor pool. Among Tyrol’s outdoor pools, it is the largest with a beach volleyball court, wave pool, slide pool, diving pool, children’s pool.
