Flying into one of the main international airports in Zurich or Munich is the easiest and most convenient approach to reach Lech and Z\u00fcrs from outside. These airports offer flights to and from various locations all around, and they are conveniently connected to train and bus lines that will take you to Langen am Arlberg, the nearest train station. From there you can take a shuttle or taxi to your accommodation in Lech or Z\u00fcrs. Alternatively, be aware of traffic conditions and winter driving needs, even if you rent a car at the airport and drive to the ski resort.<\/p>

If you are traveling from Europe or the UK to Lech and Z\u00fcrs, you may want to consider the smaller international airports of Innsbruck and Friedrichshafen. These airports have fewer flights and are closer to the ski resort, reducing stress and freeing up more time on the slopes. By car, Innsbruck Airport is only an hour and a half from Lech; Friedrichshafen Airport is two hours away. There are shuttle transportation and car rental services at both airports. From Innsbruck or Friedrichshafen you can also take a train to Langen am Arlberg then a shuttle or taxi to Lech or Z\u00fcrs.<\/p>

Another way to reach Lech and Z\u00fcrs is to take the train from your starting point to Langen am Arlberg, the closest station to the ski area. From several European cities such as Zurich, Munich, Innsbruck, Vienna, Paris and London, you can discover train connections. Along the way, the train ride is pleasant and scenic; you can admire the alpine views. Once you arrive in Langen am Arlberg, you can travel to your accommodation in Lech or Z\u00fcrs by taxi or shuttle. About 17 km separate us and the journey takes about 20 minutes. Around 120 kilometers separate Lech and Z\u00fcrs from the nearest international airport, Innsbruck Airport (INN). From many European cities, including London, Amsterdam, Berlin, Paris and Vienna, you can travel to Innsbruck. From Innsbruck you can reach Lech and Z\u00fcrs by taxi, shuttle or private transfer (approx. 90 minutes). Alternatively, you can rent a car and drive yourself; Be aware, however, that the roads may be icy and snowy and you will need winter tires and snow chains.<\/p>

About 200 kilometers away, another choice is to fly to Zurich Airport (ZRH) in Switzerland. Zurich, a major international hub, offers flights from various locations around the world. From Zurich, you can take the nearest train station Lech and Z\u00fcrs, Langen am Arlberg, then take a bus or taxi to your last stop. The bus or taxi ride takes about twenty minutes; the train journey takes approximately 2.5 hours. Also in approximately 2.5 hours you can arrange a direct shuttle or private transfer from Zurich Airport to Lech and Z\u00fcrs.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

You can also take a bus to Lech and Z\u00fcrs if you are coming from other parts of Austria or neighboring countries. Operating companies include Flixbus, BlaBlaBus and \u00d6BB. There are frequent bus routes from Vienna, Salzburg, Munich and other places. Usually stopping at Langen am Arlberg, buses allow you to change to a local bus or taxi to reach Lech and Z\u00fcrs. If you want to visit other ski resorts in the Arlberg region or explore the surrounding area, driving to Lech and Z\u00fcrs can be a flexible and convenient approach to getting around. However, you must be prepared for winter road conditions and possible road closures resulting from avalanches or heavy snowfall. You will also need to purchase a vignette, a sticker that allows you to use Austrian highways. You can buy a sticker online, at a border crossing, or at gas stations.<\/p>

Lech and Z\u00fcrs mainly take the A14 motorway, which winds through the Rhine valley, then the B197 road to the Arlberg Pass. From the pass you can take the B198 road to Lech and Z\u00fcrs. You can also follow the A12 motorway, which winds along the Inn Valley, then the S16 road to the Arlberg tunnel. In the direction of Lech and Z\u00fcrs from the tunnel, take the B197 and B198 roads. From Vienna, the travel time is almost six hours; from Salzburg it takes about three and a half hours; from Munich it’s three hours.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Direct trains to Langen am Arlberg, the closest station to Lech and Z\u00fcrs, from Vienna, Salzburg, Munich, Zurich and other locations. From Langen, it will take you around twenty minutes by bus or taxi to reach Lech and Z\u00fcrs.
