Austrian state of Carinthia and historic Carinthia, which includes Slovenian Carinthia, is Klagenfurt am W\u00f6rthersee. The town with around 100,000 inhabitants is located on the banks of the river Glan and Lake W\u00f6rthersee. Although Klagenfurt is the administrative seat of the district of Klagenfurt-Land and a statutory city in Carinthia, it is a separate district of Klagenfurt-Land.
