is the city of Gmunden. Depending on your beginning place, spending limit, and taste, there are a number of ways to travel to Gmunden.<\/p><p>You may travel to Gmunden by car, bus, or train from Vienna. As there are regular, direct trains from Vienna to Attnang-Puchheim, a neighboring town that is connected to Gmunden by local trains or buses, trains are the fastest and most practical choice. Depending on the kind of train and ticket, the approximately 2.5-hour trip costs between \u20ac25 and \u20ac56. There aren&#8217;t any direct busses from Vienna to Gmunden, hence buses are a slower but less expensive choice. From Erdberg, Stadion Center, or H\u00fctteldorf, among other places in Vienna, buses leave.<\/p><p>Getting to Gmunden from Salzburg, the fourth-biggest city in Austria, is mostly possible by vehicle or rail. The simplest and cosiest choice is via rail, which runs often and directly from Salzburg to Attnang-Puchheim, where you may transfer to a local train or bus to Gmunden. Depending on the kind of train and ticket, the approximately 1.5-hour trip costs between \u20ac15 and \u20ac35. Faster, but more expensive, are cars since you have to pay for the rental, gas, tolls, parking, insurance, and a current driver&#8217;s license. About 90 km of the trip, which takes around an hour, are traveled on the A1.<\/p><p>You may get a good train, bus, or automobile connection to Gmunden from other parts of Austria or nearby countries. Among the options are trains from Graz to Attnang-Puchheim, trains from Innsbruck to Wels, transfers to another train to Attnang-Puchheim, and finally local trains or buses to Gmunden.
