Fugging is a part of Braunau am Inn district, which has 103,009 residents overall and 97.8 people per square kilometer. There are 46 municipalities in the district, Tarsdorf included. Tarsdorf has 2,978 residents at a density of 63.5 people per square kilometer.<\/p>

With Berg, Bogen, and Tarsdorf itself, Fugging is one of the four settlements that make up Tarsdorf.Tucked away in Tarsdorf, Fugging is the tiniest hamlet by population. Its 112 inhabitants also give it the greatest population density in the region\u2014835.8 people per square kilometer.<\/p>

Up until the twenty-first century, the population of Fugging was very constant, according to the data. At this period, the population somewhat increased and then fell. There appears to be religious variety as seen by the little decline in the proportion of Catholics in the previous two censuses. Still, most people in Fugging are members of the Tarsdorf parish, making it essentially a Catholic community. A St. Martin-dedicated church is located in the community. In the town is also a charming chapel honoring St. Martin, built in 1776.<\/p>

At 56 people of each gender, the information in the table shows that the population of Fugging is evenly distributed between males and females. After 0\u201314 and 45\u201359, 30-44 is the age group with the largest population. Ages 75 and above have the fewest members, followed by those between 60 and 74 and 15 and 29. With men usually being 41.7 years old and women being 41.8 years old, the population has a median age of 41.8 years.<\/p>

Together with its historical and cultural inheritance, the population characteristics of Fugging best capture its rural and traditional character. The majority of the people living in the village are native Austrians who follow Catholicism and speak in a Bavarian accent.
