Getreidegasse is definitely Salzburg’s most popular shopping street. Nestled in lovely old buildings, visitors can find a variety of well-known stores, cafes, and confectionaries. Getreidegasse is a great place to visit for people who enjoy designer clothing and accessories; for example, it now features a sizable Louis Vuitton shop. One special feature of the retail strip is that every store signboard has to be created in a historical fashion according municipal rules.
