Carsonypark

Carsonypark is a park located in Vienna’s 11th district, Simmering.

The Carsonypark is a 4950 m2 park in the Simmering neighborhood.The park is semicircularly surrounded by residential structures and is located on Zamenhofgasse near Hasenleitengasse in the Hasenleitensiedlung, a housing complex owned by the city of Vienna.The park features plenty of seats, a table tennis table, a bed of grass and flowers, and a playground for little children, in addition to meadows and ancient trees.

On November 29, 2016, the Municipal Council Committee for Culture, Science, and Sport of the City of Vienna named the Carsonypark after the Simmering painters Karl, Josef, and Engelbert (Bert) Schrom, who achieved international fame as the Carsony Brothers.Above all, one of her stunts was the synchronized one-armed handstand on a walking stick.
