The trip starts at Ar\u00ednsols Square<\/strong> in Encamp<\/strong>, a little town situated 1,265 meters above sea level<\/strong>. Situated next to the Com\u00fa d’Encamp<\/strong> building, this square marks the beginning of a clearly defined path following the GR-11<\/strong>, a famous long-distance hiking trail in the Pyrenees<\/strong>. The first section leads hikers across the quaint paths of Les Bons<\/strong>, a historic town rich in a great legacy. Hikers in this area are shown famous sites including the architectural wonder from the 10th century<\/strong>, the Lombard Romanesque church of Sant Rom\u00e0 de les Bons<\/strong>.
