One of Andorra’s<\/strong> most challenging and rewarding hiking routes, the Cam\u00ed de Can\u00f2lich<\/strong> offers a unique mix of great cultural value, tough terrain, and visual appeal. Those lacking endurance would definitely not be suited for this six-hour journey with a difficult ascent of 670 meters<\/strong>. Still, for those ready to meet the physical demands, the experience is exhilarating and lifelong.<\/p>\n

Starting at 930 meters<\/strong> along the CG-6 path<\/strong> from Aixovall<\/strong> to Bixessarri<\/strong>, exactly at kilometer 0.7<\/strong>, the expedition proceeds next to a sizable water reservoir. At this point, hikers cross a small bridge across the River d’\u00d3s<\/strong> and start down the trail defined by three yellow markers. The road winds over a large swath of Scots pine<\/strong>, ending at the els Meners spring<\/strong>, 1,115 meters<\/strong> above sea level. Enclosed by the peaceful auditory and olfactory experiences of the forest, this first part gives the climb a revitalizing start.<\/p>\n
